 SOLID Principle SOLID is a mnemonic acronym for 5 design principles intented to make Object oriented design more understandable, flexible and maintainable.  First introduced in 2000, acronym introduced later around 2004 by MF. Although SOLID principles apply to any object oriented design, they can also form a core philosophy for methodologies such as AGILE development Or Adaptive Software development. After the Installation of Magento from the composer, we cannot access the admin panel. Also, the deploy command doesn't work. (On Windows 10 OS). Note: Magento 2.3 supports Linux OS. Windows and Mac OS is not supported. This is a Magento bug. Wrong paths to Windows are generated. E-commerce sites must be secure to accomplish online transactions. For making the transaction secure, one of the important elements  is making the site URL secure. Secure URL means the url has https instead of http. We need to add the security certificate on the site to make it secure. Also, we need to configure the PrestaShop for this. After making the URL secure (https), we need to redirect the old URLs to the new ones. For that, we need to add this script on htaccess to redirect all requests to secure URL. The cannonical and hreflang tags are useful if our store is multi-language. It avoids duplication of url for each store and helps the site SEO by mentioning the url of different languages. This will indicate to the google crawlers which is the alternative link for each languages and / or geographical areas where the online store and the canonical url of the product are available, category, manufacturer list, which in many cases will be very useful. We can add the cannonical and hreflang tags on prestashop at the header.tpl template file. The template files are under theme/yourthemename folder. The zero-width joiner (ZWJ) is a non-printing character used in the computerized typesetting of some complex scripts such as the Arabic script or any Indic script. When placed between two characters that would otherwise not be connected, a ZWJ causes them to be printed in their connected forms. It means it doesnot take additional space. It is   &zwj; Useful when we need to output some html that don't need space. In some editors like tinymce, when we put the html that don't contain space then it will not save that html and will remove it from editor. For eg: <a href=".."></a> When we try to save the above html on tinymce editor, it will remove it from the content because it doen't have any character inside it. So, to overcome that problem we can use this special zero-width joiner character in between. It is a character that don't output extra space.  <a href="..">&zwj;</a> Happy coding!!!

We can perform reindex via SSH in magento. It is faster and shows the error log.  But at first, we need the SSH access of the web hosting. We can connect to SSH by using SSH client like putty.exe. Steps: 1. Login to SSH using the credentials provided.  2. Go to the magento installation directory. 3. Go to shell folder. 4. Run the following command:     php indexer.php --reindexall or we can reindex one at a time.     php indexer.php --reindex catalog_product_price to know the status of the reindex    php indexer.php --status for help, we can run:    php indexer.php help

We can connect the Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 rdbms to php with codeigniter framework. For that we need to install sqlsrv driver on our server.  SqlSrv is a php driver for MS SQL  and is available from Microsoft: » http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/sqlserver/ff657782.aspx. For earlier version of php before  5.3 , the Mssql driver was needed.  The Mssql extension is not available anymore on Windows with PHP 5.3 or later. After we have sqlsrv driver extension added on server, we can check it on our phpinfo page. The sqlsrv should be there. We may need to install the odbc driver too depending on our system configuration. If there is a problem with connecting sql server database, we can debug to know the error.
